New Racer under 18?
-Then you need the following: 
-A Parent or Legal Guardian (you may need a Permission Slip to sign up if you don't have a parent present)
-Minor Waiver : you will need a completed Minor Waiver for each day of riding SEE BELOW
-AMA Card available online HERE or at the Track @ Signup (if you sign up online print out your receipt or screenshot it because you'll need proof)
- D14 Card available online HERE or at the Track @ Signup(if you sign up online print out your receipt or screenshot it because you'll need proof)
-To know what Class you are racing: So you have a bike? What classes can you race it in,  well that depends on your age and the bike  HERE is a list of all the AMAD14 classes, and HERE are the Valley Track Classes 
-The Correct Safety Equipment:   a DOT approved full-face helm
et, goggles, protective pants and long-sleeved jerseys, and motocross boots. NEW for 2023 All Riders in Youth Classes are REQUIRED to have a front and back chest protection. You can find this information in the AMA handbook section 1.2 page 27 under Competition Apparel.
-Make sure you have an understanding of the rules both AMA HERE and the Additional D14 ones HERE

Q: What are Open Rides.

 

     A: OPEN RIDES are our Practice days where anybody with a Dirt bike, Quad, or MINI can come and ride the track

 

Q: When are Open Rides / Times / Pricing?

 

     A: Look at the OPEN RIDE DATES on our homepage for Dates, OR CLICK ON SCHEDULE

         

     

   PRICING:  ALL RIDERS MUST BE MEMBERS of VALLEY MOTOCROSS.   

                           Big Bikes and Quads:  $30 daily practice Fee

                           Mini Riders : $15 

                           Gate Fee: $5 Spectators only (KIDS 15 and under FREE)

 

Q: Are Open Rides Groomed / Watered?

    

     A: YES. We will groom the track before open rides and if needed during the day.  WATER will be used to control the dust and keep the track safe for all participants

 

Q: Where do we enter for practice?

   

      A: THE PRACTICE GATE ENTRANCE -  at the top of the hill, It's just over 100 yds north of the main gate.  This will be our practice entrance.

 

Q: WILL PRACTICE BE BROKEN UP INTO GROUPS?

 

     A: DEPENDS on the turnout.  In the need of safety we realize that not everyone can be on the track at the same time, so in an effort to make it a great day for everyone, practice will be split as needed into 20 min Rotations (Riders may be assigned to a group if unsure of where they belong).

     

        MOTOCROSS TRACK - SPLIT INTO 15 or 20 min rotations(Tunrout Dependant)

        EXPERT Group-  ALL "A & B" Class Riders, or riders with the ability to clear most jumps and hold their lines. 

        BEGINNER Group- ALL "C, D," Riders with limited track experience and riders who do not clear most jumps

        85s 65s - ALL 85cc/65cc Expert Riders.   Riders on Smaller Machines but ride on the big track (WOMEN MAY RIDE BIG BIKES)
VETs   - Anyone 25+ and Womans Riders 

QUADS
50cc 

        MINI TRACK - NOT SPLIT

        50 BEGINNER / EXPERT   65 BEGINNER - RIDE ALL DAY

        PIT BIKES - ONLY when MINI track is clear of all young riders will pit bikes be allowed, when a MINI bike wants to ride PIT bike must pull off

 

Q: CAN I RENT THE TRACK FOR AN OPEN RIDE? 

    

      A: YES TRACK IS AVAILABLE FOR RENTAL
